Uncategorized Jul 18, 2020

Rather than being theoretical, here are five actionable steps you can implement to burn more body fat. Now keeping it off…that’s simply a function of being able to sustain these habits! Some of these practices you will find sustainable, so keep them! Others you may find too difficult, so ditch those.

Extra walks

Adding in extra 10-minute brisk walks throughout the day can be an excellent time to clear your head, get some sun, improve digestion…but also to burn more fat! Three 10 minute walks a day, maybe after each meal, is a great way to get in 30 minutes of fat-burning cardio!

More sun exposure

Sun exposure and getting optimal vitamin D levels plays a very important role in your hormones, which in turn affects your fat burning! Every day aim to outside 10-15 minutes a day minimum to get some sun exposure! Even on cloudy days, you can still reap the benefits. If your climate doesn’t allow this, consider looking for whole food alternatives that will get you...

5 Signs You Should Clarify Your Goals

Uncategorized Apr 30, 2020

1. You’re constantly seeking a perfect strategy or the “right” thing to do.

If you’re always looking for the perfect gameplan or “play” to make, that may suggest that you’re not clear enough yet on what your exact goal is. When you have a clear target, it’s measurable, and it has a deadline—then the next apparent step becomes clear!

2. You can’t wait for the weekend.

When your targets and goals are clear, you are filled with an excitement and purpose because you know that every single action you take, you are getting one step closer to turning your dream into a reality. If most of your workdays are filled with monotony and boredom, then that is because you’re not sure if your current actions are leading anywhere.

3. You keep putting things off.

If you continually procrastinate on something, it’s time to revisit your goal. Sometimes you may have a specific goal, but you have not clearly visualized the outcome....

Spice Up Your Life With Daily Challenges

Uncategorized Apr 03, 2020

Yes, routine habit and consistency are the cornerstones of success and progress.

At the same time, getting locked into your comfort zone is the enemy of growth.

What’s the middle ground? Have routines and rituals, but also add in daily challenges to force yourself outside of your comfort zone!

Here’s how.

Used to doing your usual workout routine? Awesome—keep doing it, but let’s add in a 3 mile run one day. Or 100 pushups. Or a hike. Or maybe see how long you can hold a plank! Pick something fun but also challenging. The goal is to wake your brain up and do something new, difficult, and exciting!

How about your daily life? Sure—do your usual work routine. But let’s add something…maybe go above and beyond and call someone you wouldn’t usually call! Or record a video and post it. Do something that strikes fear into you, but feels like an area of personal growth.

And here’s the key…don’t think. Don’t judge it....

Goal Setting: Do the Math!

Uncategorized Apr 03, 2020

One of the most common mistakes people make with setting goals is never doing the math.

Goals may be as close to magic as you can get, but they’re still not magic. If you set goals and expect them to somehow materialize by the end of the year, chances are they won’t.

At the same time, if you set major goals and you never do the math to determine what it’s going to take to get there—you may end up taking random, unfocused action. Which is better than no action, but we’d still rather be making measurable progress towards our goals!

Let’s say you set an income goal. Rather than just setting that goal and forgetting it, actually do the math to figure out how you’re going to get there! How much would you need to earn monthly? Weekly? How much do you currently earn? How can you begin to increase your cash flow?

Same thing goes with fitness. Let’s say your goal is to bench 225 by the end of the year. Then maybe you can set a target...

My Current Struggles on Quarantine and How I'm Overcoming Them

Uncategorized Apr 03, 2020

Rather than complaining, let me share what my current struggles are on quarantine and how I’m overcoming them!

#1 Maintaining successful weeks

I would label a successful week as having at least 4/7 winning days. For me this means getting up early, setting my daily targets, getting my workout done, and accomplishing at least 80% of my daily targets—while still making time for my family.

Because of living in an enclosed environment with people (like many of us are), once everyone is awake—there’s usually a bit of pandemonium. The key to a successful day for me is getting out in front. Getting up before anyone else to be able to set my daily targets, do some meditation, and get a hard workout in.

This is crucial for me! Once I get this done, I’m ready to go for the day. If I miss this, I usually have to respond to others’ needs during the day, whether that business, family, or social media instead of charting the course.

#2 Slower income flows

Emerge As The Champion

Uncategorized Apr 03, 2020

2020 certainly isn’t going the way everyone expected. Right now, we’re all facing a fair amount of uncertainty, change, and panic.

We are facing something that our generation has never faced before. I’m not simply saying “you” but I’m saying “we”because we are all in this situation together and we need to come out of this as one.

In times like this, it’s hard to keep your motivation up. It almost seems pointless in a sense, because what’s the use of staying motivated right now if everything’s just going to change? Might as well just chill and wait until things are back to normal, right?

Wrong.

When you lose your momentum, it’s hard to get back. Because of this, momentum is a fire that must be tended to daily. Every single day, you must deposit wood into this fire. You must keep it going, because it’s hard to get back once you’ve let it go.

Sylvester Stallone says “Make daily deposits into the goal...

How to Stay Positive in The Face of Adversity

Uncategorized Apr 03, 2020

Trying times can break you or strengthen you. Your belief in being able to take action and get through it is a major determining factor in whether you will be able to overcome the hard times or you will buckle under pressure and be defeated. Controlling your mind is the number one priority in difficult circumstances.

Don’t passively consume Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, the news, Netflix. All the memes, jokes, negative comments, and commiserating is only make you more discouraged. Only use these sites with a purpose. Doing this will free up hours of each day that can be spent reading a book that will change your life, planning, budgeting, exercising, or with family.

Get up early and have a game plan for each hour the day. Don’t ever question what you’re doing for the day—that should have been planned last night. You wake up with no room for doubt because you have shit to do—so do it. The monsters of doubt and discouragement only grow the...

My Go-To Supplements and Condiments

Uncategorized Apr 03, 2020

Following a meat-based diet, just pure salt and pepper doesn’t cut it for me! I plan to do this for life, so I like to make it enjoyable and include the following supplements and condiments to help support my largely beef-based diet!

Strong Coffee

VERY high quality instant coffee powder with MCTs, collagen, l-theanine, monk fruit sweetened, and some nootropics. Delicious and very easy to make.

BioChem Whey Protein Isolate

Just for an extra protein boost throughout the day. I’ll make 1-2 of these shakes daily! Stick to isolate, avoid the carbs and junk ingredients!

Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides

Supporting the connective tissue, joints, skin! I’ll include some collagen in my protein shakes. Also…extra protein is always a good thing.

Optimal Carnivore Organ Complex

I’m not committed to eating organ meats, but I certainly believe in their benefits! So I take these daily as a multivitamin. I absolutely feel an energy boost when I take them—just...

Keep Training!

Uncategorized Apr 03, 2020

Yes, this global pandemic is affecting all of us probably more so than any of us expected. While the current guidelines from leading authorities urge us to stay home and limit contact socially, it’s equally important for your mental health and immune system to continue DOING. Taking action, making progress. Starting with your body!

The mind will respond to the environmental cues you give it. If you’re sitting around, indoors all day, eating garbage, and not exercising—expect to start experiencing a depressed mood and decreased willingness to do anything.

If you’re continuing to train using home workouts, fueling yourself on high-quality proteins, and getting some outdoor time each day—it will greatly improve your overall mood and mindset.

If you’ve been wondering what to do training-wise—try this!

Warm-ups:

  • 100 jumping jacks
  • 20 high knees
  • 20 butt kickers

3 rounds, 30 seconds rest in between

  • Jump Squats-20 reps
  • Pushups-20 reps
  • Pullups-10...

Staying Home?

Uncategorized Apr 03, 2020

NOW is the time for than ever to focus on expanding and growth! I know…not what you were thinking.

During periods of crises and fear, the human tendency is to contract, retreat, and do less. I believe in times of difficulty, it is more important than ever to take ACTION and maintain discipline!

During these times, you can’t afford to get lax with your habits and ‘take it easy’. Get up at 5am. Get your home workout in. Take time to invest in your skills and knowledge. Have meaningful conversations with your family about what’s going on. Check in with work colleagues. Create a family gameplan for how to handle the situation.

This isn’t Netflix and chill time. Eating junk food will do nothing to boost your immune system. Sooner or later, all crises end. When it ends, will you have improved your skills or moved backwards?

Take this time to invest in yourself, get stricter with your disciplines, and GROW!

If you haven’t yet, I encourage you to...
