Spice Up Your Life With Daily Challenges

Yes, routine habit and consistency are the cornerstones of success and progress.

At the same time, getting locked into your comfort zone is the enemy of growth.

What’s the middle ground? Have routines and rituals, but also add in daily challenges to force yourself outside of your comfort zone!

Here’s how.

Used to doing your usual workout routine? Awesome—keep doing it, but let’s add in a 3 mile run one day. Or 100 pushups. Or a hike. Or maybe see how long you can hold a plank! Pick something fun but also challenging. The goal is to wake your brain up and do something new, difficult, and exciting!

How about your daily life? Sure—do your usual work routine. But let’s add something…maybe go above and beyond and call someone you wouldn’t usually call! Or record a video and post it. Do something that strikes fear into you, but feels like an area of personal growth.

And here’s the key…don’t think. Don’t judge it. Don’t contemplate it. Just commit to it and do it.

If you make daily challenges a part of your life, you will soon find yourself growing in new ways you never expected. You will be avoiding the danger of complacency.

On top of that, you will become a person who routinely goes above and beyond. You always overdeliver, do the extra rep, go the extra mile.
